I deeply impressed how is theserverside.com forum community is weak. I always considered this Java server-side portal as a major resource in this field, but now I am disappointed. I posted a simple question to one of the forums, and it is still unanswered. What’s more it is still the first in the message tree. So, nobody from hundreds of thousands of used didn’t post anything during the whole day. It’s a pity. However there lots of useful stuff like overviews and Tech Talks.

The .net community has the same troubles at theserverside.com.
I think that TSS is the promo portal for white papers alerts, interviews, VIP’s articles and opinions publishings, webcasts dowloading etc.
The most power .net community is codeproject.com
I wondering why that’s happened. I’m trying to find any other strong Java server side forum over the Internet now.
I think the serversidecom overall is a very useful and up to date resource. But… when a web forum gets popular, it tends to get polluted with people who don’t know much and then the really good people go away.
Agree, when every 2nd question is about how to connect to DB from a JSP page, most professionals become furious and leave the forum.
